FCR EAGLES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
The FCR Eagles International School is situated close to the Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge.
The school was founded by the Andrea and Falk Foundation in 2023 and offers Pre-Primary and Primary classes for the local children and for the children of the Barefoot Addo Lodge staff. The main aim of the school is provide a holistic wider educational foundation.
This aim is accomplished in various ways. Each child is provided with a summer and winter school uniform (including shoes) and two meals a day. The children are taken on walks and game drives around the Barefoot Elephant Reserve to nurture their love and understanding of nature.
They are also taken on educational outings to nearby towns. Previous outings have included visits to a museum, a library, a conservation centre and other schools.
The school welcomes visitors. Guests at Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge can walk down to the school for a visit at any time.
